Summer Series:

We finished the CSSHA Summer Series in August. The show results for the Summer Series Shows, and for the CSSHA year-end points, are posted at our website at www.CSSHAclub.com, on our Facebook page, and in issues of THE WRANGLER.

Year-End Awards Banquet for Summer Series:

You had to enter 4 of 6 summer shows to qualify for year-end prizes. There will be great prizes given out, plus a silent auction as a fundraiser, at our upcoming 2019 Summer Series Awards Banquet on September 14, 2019 at 6 pm. Dinner will be at the Sundowner Station in Riverton, WY. Social hour starts at 5 pm with awards given out at 7 pm. Meal tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for kids (Adult choices: Choice of Shrimp, Ribeye or Chicken. Kids menu available.) Silent auction item donations appreciated. Contact Kari Sack for banquet reservations and to choose your meal in advance: jnksack@wyoming.com, 307-709-7928.

As usual, at the Sept. 14 banquet, we’ll hold our annual club meeting. We will vote on Board officers again this year by written ballot. Please nominate a CSSHA board member (listed at the top of the news) for our officer positions and return nominations to Paula McCormick by September 7th. The vote will be by written ballot at the banquet. Officer Positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter. If you are interested in serving on the board as a board member, let us know in case we have a board opening.

Don’t forget to purchase a raffle ticket for a beautiful Damascus knife which was created
by Audra Draper. Audra was the first women to ever achieve the rating of Master Smith from the American Bladesmith Society. Tickets will be available at our awards banquet on Sept. 14th and also from many of the CSSHA members around Riverton. This is a once in a life time chance to own a stunning knife built right here in Fremont County!

SPONSORSHIPS: We can still accommodate sponsors for our 2019/2020 Winter Series of six shows. Contact a CSSHA board member if you are interested in sponsoring.
